Develop a lexicon of self-care for your body, psyche and soul; increase your body’s resilience and adaptability to stressful situations; and enhance its ability to return to “normal”. In this restorative class, you are taught techniques to relax deeply and settle your nervous system, through a variety of supported poses, breathing techniques, pranayama and sound therapies.

A "yoga kit" is highly recommended with all classes but particularly for this type of class where poses are taken with support.  A basic yoga kit consists of: 1 sticky mat, 1-2 yoga straps (2 1/2 -3 ft long); 2 wooden blocks, 1 bolster, 3-4 blankets (preferably cotton measuring 6 1/2 ft x 4ft), and a folding backless chair. If you do not have all of these items, you can often make use of furniture in your own home if you do not have all of this on hand.
